IAgrM Thames Valley Branch members welcome guest speaker Juilian Sayers, Director of Adkin

Date Published: 19/11/2021

Julian is a Director of Adkin, the leading rural property and asset management practice and will talk to us about how he see the future for UK agriculture -  but with a property slant as opposed to technical farming.

This includes projects he is involved with that would include letting land for a hydroponic farm scheme, land being acquired and farmed by a major new ESG investment fund, promotion and option agreements covering sites for 10 houses through to new settlements of 3,500 dwellings, leisure enterprises both small and large scale etc.

This event will be held at:

@ the Club at Mapledurham, Reading RG4 7UD

7.00 pm

Julian is also Vice President of The Farmers Club, Chairman of Trustees for The Worshipful Company of Farmers Trustee Company, Chairman of City of London Pan Livery Food Group, chairs the Tenancy Reform Industry Group for the Defra Ministers and is Vice Chairman of Trustees for The Earth Trust

In recent years, he has also been Master of The Worshipful Company of Farmers, Vice Chairman of Governors at  The Royal Agricultural University , National Chairman and now a Vice President of RABI, together with being Chairman of The Oxford Farming Conference and The Farmers Club. He is also a Life Vice President of the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs and an Honorary Fellow of Royal Agricultural University.

This should be a fascinating talk by Julian and if you want to attend this event, please email Giles Martin at:

The cost to attend is £25 per head – this includes a meal etc.

We look forward to seeing you there – and feel free to invite a friend/colleague/partner etc. too who also might be interested.
