Farm Labour in the UK

Date Published: 11/06/2021

You are invited to the launch of the Centre for Rural Policy Research report on ‘Farm labour in the UK’ commissioned by The Worshipful Company of Farmers. The launch event will focus on the challenges facing the sector in terms of attracting and retaining permanent labour in particular. It will also examine potential solutions from within the domestic workforce, especially recruits from a non-farming background. These are important issues that individual farm businesses and sector bodies will have to address in order to access the labour force the industry needs.
