ALL SPEAKERS NOW CONFIRMED - 1st NOVEMBER 2022
NATIONAL FARM MANGEMENT CONFERENCE
QEII CENTRE, LONDON
The National Farm Management Conference is one of the standout events of the year for IAgrM. Following the success of last year’s event, we are again planning to hold the event at the QEII Centre in London. This year the conference will be on Tuesday 1st November 2022.
The theme of this year’s conference will be:
Agriculture’s Defining Decade: Balancing Food and Environmental Security
Following disruptions caused by Brexit, Covid and now war in the Black Sea region the food security debate rages on like never before. But what exactly does food security mean? Is self-sufficiency a useful proxy or is it something fundamentally more complex? And how do we balance improving our national food security with the ever-growing domestic land use competition from delivering environmental goods and services and expanding the area of biomass cropping and woodland to meet our net zero targets. Is ‘non-traditional’ landless agriculture part of the solution? What role might vertical farming, alternative proteins and cultured food play in the food security mix?
Join us on 1 November for a stellar line up of speakers, including:
