Henry Matthews

Henry is a specialist in sustainable agricultural production and farm management.

He has UK experience of combinable, root crops and farm livestock as well as world fruit and vegetables. He has carried out consultancies in Europe, Central Asia, Africa and South America on farm management and crop production.

Henry has worked as a senior lecturer in the School of Sustainable Environments at Writtle since 2002. He grew up on a family farm which he managed in conjunction with teaching and other activities for 25 years. His first degree in History and Economics was obtained at the University of Manchester and his Masters from Imperial College, London.

He is a qualified agronomist on the BASIS register.
